"I’ve failed when I designed something that was not well-received and liked by a client.

I cope by quickly choosing to look at it as an avenue to exercise my problem-solving muscles. I don’t feel that they were happy with the end result, when in the past, I’ve always produced a final product that both my client and I were happy with. This was and still is a very difficult thing to deal with.

I’m having to learn that you can’t win em’ all.  The struggle that many artists face is the teetering between confidence and self-doubt. These situations push the scale more towards the side of the latter. But again, it’s an opportunity to exercise the muscle and strengthen my resilience as an artist. Being that I’m still working on projects for this client, I’m pushing my way through to the finish hoping to regain their (and my) confidence as a designer."
