I need to play to my strengths, and like any artist, I'm still working out exactly what those are.

"Gosh, I failed yesterday, last week, all summer! If you're trying something big and different, there's lots of stumbling around that has to be done. It comes with the territory. This summer I tried a few new things that just didn't land, and I realized I should have spent more time on the things that I knew worked, and on presenting them better.

In the end I cut my losses and carried on. There's nothing else to do about it. I can't just stop trying. I realize that I stretch myself too thin sometimes in an effort to expand on what I'm doing. I need to play more to my strengths, and like any artist, I'm still working out exactly what those are."
